“The room could have been cleaner. The ac worked well but needs to be clean. My daughter and I both had a reaction to the room air. The beds were very comfortable. Overall it was an ok stay. The staff were excellent and seemed to like their jobs. ”

“Our room was clean, we arrived late but staff got us our key promptly and checked in. Parking was great right in front of our room. The river right beside was nice for reflecting before we left. Will us this property again for anytime we need to stay in Charleston. It was very affordable for just needing a night to sleep and get ready in the morning. ”

“We stayed 2 nights in room 128. It's the bottom floor, very close to the parking lot. Easy to get in and out. The window in the room didn't lock and had no screen on it. Seemed like a safe neighborhood. But it needs to be fixed. The room wasn't the cleanest but iv seen worse. Not too many channels on the TV. Half of them wouldn't come in. And the paper channel guide doesn't match the channels. Lots of restaurants around it. The mall is close. Hillbilly hotdogs its a dive but you have check it...

“I think it was circumstantial, but there was a group in the hotel that made my stay very unpleasant. Shared spaces were dominated by this group and they were generally rude. I was enroute to another city and have always enjoyed stopping in Charleston and staying at this hotel. However, this time was simply awful. I wasn't able to take advantage of the amenities, especially breakfast, so I just left as soon as I got up the next morning. Room was fine, clean, but my experience other than that...

“Wonderful hotel including the ambience, staff, cleanliness and pet friendly policies. Perfect stop on our way to NC. I will say, the water pressure in the showers was unbelievable. Such a shock how strong it was and almost enough reason to book this place again. Awesome hotel!”

“The breakfast menu was not very good; the eggs were watery, and there was no fruit option. But the worst part was the pillows — they were flat and hard, as if they had been used a thousand times and had no fluff left, like a flattened cake.”
